Jay Mooncie and Connor Sims are making some big waves in the UK at the moment with their soulful, sensitively poised electronic project Folded Like Fabric. The duo have an EP called I Tried coming out later in the month. We've already been treated to a brace of cuts from it - the title-track, which aired last year, and the woozy 'Hunting For Reason', which appeared a little over a week ago; 'You Said' is the third taster of the record. A twisting, turning electro-soul tableau brimming with honeyed harmonies, dreamily plucked strings and pacifying beats, 'You Said' is the sound of a new band carving their very own niche in an admittedly very crowded and competitive scene. - DC
